If you can't imagine your mornings without a black brew, try golden coffee, which incorporates turmeric. It may seem simple, but when consumed regularly, it can positively affect your mood and boost your energy.
What are the properties of turmeric coffee?
Curcumin, present in turmeric, inhibits the activity of inflammatory factors, thereby reducing inflammation in the body. Curcumin also impacts levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine, which are responsible for regulating emotions and motivation. In contrast, the caffeine present in coffee stimulates the nervous system and improves concentration and memory. Golden coffee can thus be a superb addition to your mornings.
It's worth mentioning that golden coffee alleviates digestive problems and supports weight loss due to curcumin. Research indicates that curcumin can influence fat metabolism. It has been found to activate enzymes involved in the breakdown of fat cells, potentially aiding in burning excess fat. Meanwhile, the coffee itself stimulates intestinal peristalsis.
Golden coffee, or coffee with turmeric. Recipe
Preparing turmeric coffee is incredibly simple, but enriching the drink with other spices is worth enriching. Moreover, research published in the scientific journal "Molecules" indicates that for better absorption of turmeric, it’s advisable to combine it with milk or cream. This is due to the fat present in such a drink, which affects the absorption of curcumin. Turmeric is also recommended to be combined with pepper. Adding piperine found in pepper increases the absorption of turmeric in the intestines, enhancing its effectiveness.
