Trump's legal woes reignite fears for Stormy Daniels
Stormy Daniels revealed a few months ago that she lives in constant fear. Supporters of Donald Trump are allegedly harassing her. The 77-year-old's return to power takes place under the shadow of a conviction for financial misconduct related to their affair and the "hush money" payment.
Stormy Daniels, a former adult film actress, appeared some time ago in a special election programme on Channel 4, where she confessed that she has to hide from Donald Trump's voters who threaten her. Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in the same programme, questioned her words and emphasised that "he has always been treated by Donald Trump with politeness and kindness."
Stormy Daniels fears for her life
The former adult film actress has been living in a caravan since July 2024, fearing for the safety of herself and her family. The reason for the decision to move out of her own home is said to be Donald Trump supporters who openly say they want to harm her. The president's lawyers "accidentally" disclosed her home address to a wider audience, which only added fuel to the fire.
- At first, it was terrible, then it quietened down for a moment, but during these elections, it intensified again. The biggest difference between this and the first time is that people are no longer hiding - she said.
She also confessed that Trump's supporters called clubs where she performed as a stand-up comedian with her comedy show and threatened the owners with arson.
A past that still returns
Animosity from Trump enthusiasts towards Daniels has been escalating since 2016. The woman revealed back then that she had an affair with the politician in July 2006 when she met him during a golf tournament at Lake Tahoe. Intimate encounters are said to have occurred between the 60-year-old businessman and the 27-year-old actress. The situation was made more scandalous by the fact that Trump was already married to Melania and the father of a mere several-month-old Barron.
Stormy Daniels testified during a court trial that she accepted £100,000 from Trump's former lawyer before the 2016 presidential election in exchange for her silence.
Donald Trump was convicted in court
Donald Trump was charged with 34 crimes related to document forgery to conceal payments intended for Daniels. The trial concluded on 10 January 2025, and Judge Juan Merchan announced a guilty verdict for the President of the United States for business record falsification.
Donald Trump pleaded not guilty and announced an appeal. - It was a political witch hunt. (...) I am completely innocent, I did nothing wrong - he said before the verdict was issued.
