Donald Trump believes that European countries should pay more to support Ukraine. The candidate for President of the USA emphasized that Ukraine's survival is important for the United States, but it should be more important for Europe.

Donald Trump spoke about the current situation in Ukraine on Wednesday through his social media platform, TRUTH Social. "Why isn't Europe giving more money to help Ukraine?" he began the post.

The former president of the USA asks, "Why isn’t Europe giving more money to help Ukraine? Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion ... into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation!"

"As everyone agrees, Ukrainian Survival and Strength should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us! Get moving Europe!"" - the Republican candidate for president called out.

Key legislation for Ukraine

Ukraine keeps asking its Western allies for more ammunition and anti-air defense systems, while Russian forces continue to bombard its cities and energy infrastructure daily.

Republicans in the House of Representatives published on Wednesday a draft of three bills to support Ukraine, Israel, and the Indo-Pacific. The drafts propose allocating nearly £49 billion to help Ukraine. President of the USA, Joe Biden, endorsed the draft package on Wednesday. He called on both chambers of Congress for the swift processing of these draft bills and announced that he would sign them immediately. The voting is set to take place on Saturday.

Tom Cole, the chair of the House of Representatives's budget committee, wrote: "I know this to be true: if we don't help our friends in time of need, soon enough, we won't have any friends at all. The time is now to act." Cole called for quickly adopting the bills and sending them to the Senate.
