Donald Trump, the President of the United States, spoke about the ongoing talks with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine. During a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he emphasised that the dialogue is "very good" and "constructive."

We are having very good talks (with the Russians and the Ukrainian leadership – ed.), very constructive talks on Ukraine - Trump said.

These words were in response to a question from a Polish Radio correspondent regarding a possible call for Vladimir Putin to withdraw from southern Ukraine.

The US President highlighted the enormous human and material losses, describing the ongoing conflict as a "slaughter."

When you hear the real numbers in Ukraine, what the numbers are, and this doesn't include the cities that have been demolished and all of the people that were killed. So I want to see it stopped - Trump added.

Despite the optimistic tone, Donald Trump did not reveal any additional details about the negotiations.
