Butler County District Attorney, Richard Goldinger, said in a phone conversation with the AP agency that the suspected assailant is dead.
He also added that at least one attendee at the rally was killed.

Trump is safe
The video posted on the platform shows personnel carrying out the lifeless body of one of the spectators, who was standing a few yards behind the former president during Trump's speech in Butler.
The Secret Service stated that "the former president is safe." - With President Trump, everything is alright, and he is being examined at a local medical facility - said Donald Trump's campaign team in a statement.
