Tragic accident at Greek amusement park claims life of teenager
At the amusement park on the Chalkidiki Peninsula in Greece, a tragic accident occurred. Due to a malfunction of one of the machines, a 19-year-old boy has died.

The boy was taken to hospital, but did not survive the accident
According to Proto Thema, the incident happened on Monday, 19 August, in the town of Pefkochori. According to public broadcaster ERT, the young man fell from a carousel when his seat became loose as the operator increased the ride's speed.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital in critical condition, and on Tuesday morning, the media reported his death. He was on holiday on the Chalkidiki Peninsula with his family and siblings. One of his brothers was slightly injured in the accident.
