Tragedy in Ukraine: Russian missile strikes kill 20 in Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv
Ten people were killed in a Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to local authorities. Another five people were killed in Kyiv. Overall estimates from the Ministry of Internal Affairs speak of 20 fatalities.

In Kryvyi Rih, ten people were killed and 31 were injured as a result of a missile attack conducted by the Russian army on Monday morning, said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s military administration. Kryvyi Rih, in central-eastern Ukraine, is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Preliminarily (we have information of) ten dead, 31 injured are already in hospitals, of which ten are in serious condition," Vilkul wrote on Telegram. All emergency, municipal, and medical services are working in the city.
On Monday, Russia conducted a massive missile attack on Ukraine, launching more than 40 missiles at several cities. In Kyiv, at least five deaths are known.

At least five people were killed as a result of a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv on Monday morning, according to Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration of the Ukrainian capital. They are also injured.
The Russian army attacked civilian infrastructure, including a children's medical facility in Kyiv. Missile debris fell in six districts of the capital, authorities reported.
The targets of the Russian attack included a children's hospital in the Ukrainian capital. Rescue operations are ongoing at the site.
President Zelensky himself commented on the attack. "Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. One of the most important CHILDREN’S hospitals not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe. Okhmatdyt has been saving and restoring the health of thousands of children. Now that the hospital has been damaged by a Russian strike, there are people under the rubble, and the exact number of casualties is still unknown. Right now, everyone is helping to clear the rubble – doctors and ordinary people," he said.
"As a result of the Russian attack, a total of 20 people were killed, and about 50 were injured," the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
