On Friday evening, a drone struck a building in the Solomianskyi district, one of the right-bank districts of Kyiv, located in the central-western part of the city.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported that a girl born in 2009 was killed in the attack. Five people were injured, four of whom were treated at the scene, and one required hospitalisation.
He specified that the fire affected flats on the top floors of the high-rise.
The head of Kyiv's military administration, Serhiy Popko, informed that more than 100 residents were evacuated from the high-rise, and the injured were treated on-site. "Flats from the 17th to the 21st floors were damaged," he added.
Popko reported that drone fragments also fell on open ground, but there are no reports of casualties.
