Aanvi Kamdar gained fame online as an influencer with a passion for travel. She managed to gather nearly 300,000 followers on her Instagram profile, where she shared not only photos and videos from her trips but also practical tips for other travellers.
Tragic death of the influencer
Unfortunately, the girl died tragically, being just 27 years old. The accident happened at the Kumbhe Waterfall, about 130 kilometres from Mumbai. Aanvi was there with a group of friends. On-site, the influencer was recording content for her social media. Due to inattention, she fell from a height.
She fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks around 300 feet into the valley and couldn't be spotted initially - reported "The Economic Times" by one of the rescuers.
Over 50 people were involved in the rescue operation. According to CBS NWS, it took them about six hours to extract the 27-year-old from the gorge.
Aanvi Kamdar is dead
According to "The Economic Times," Kamdar died in the hospital. Initially, her condition required her to be put on a ventilator. However, it turned out that the internal injuries were too severe. Aanvi Kamdar died on 16 July in the afternoon Greenwich Time.
No commemorative post about her death or funeral appeared on the influencer's profile. Internet users bid her farewell in the comments under her last posts. As they argue, Aanvi's death does not fit the trend of influencers who died due to inattention while taking selfies.
