Tomatoes not only taste excellent but are also extremely healthy. They contain one of the most potent antioxidants – lycopene, whose health benefits have been proven by many scientific studies. In addition to lycopene, tomatoes also contain vitamin A and B vitamins, vitamin C, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc.

Consumption of tomatoes and tomato-based products reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, prostate, colon, liver, ovarian, and breast cancers, delays ageing processes, positively affects skin condition, protects it from UV radiation, improves vision, and supports weight loss.

The benefits of tomatoes can be further increased. Simply prepare juice with the addition of turmeric and pepper to achieve even stronger health effects.

Tomato juice with pepper and turmeric supports the immune system, helps remove deposits from the intestines, lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, supports the digestive system, protects against hypertension, and regulates blood sugar levels. This drink stimulates the secretion of digestive juices and cleanses the body of toxins, being one of the most potent, natural cancer prevention methods.

The healthiest juice. How to prepare it?

To prepare such juice, you will need 10 ripe red tomatoes, half a teaspoon of pepper, and half a teaspoon of turmeric. The tomatoes should be washed, scalded, and peeled, then cut into quarters and have the seeds removed.

Put the prepared vegetables and spices into a blender and blend for one minute. The drink can be consumed immediately or stored in the fridge and consumed, for instance, instead of water with meals.
