The Israeli Defence Forces's response: Israeli soldiers under investigation after tying a wounded Palestinian to a vehicle
Israeli soldiers tied a wounded Palestinian prisoner to the bonnet of a military vehicle. Everything occurred in front of the detainee's family during a raid in Jenin in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli army stated that it is investigating the matter.

It is not known under what charges the Palestinian was detained. Israeli forces maintain that they were fired upon, and as a result of their response to the gunfire, the suspect was wounded.
Reuters reports that the family of the wounded Palestinian asked the Israeli soldiers to allow medics to attend to him. The soldiers remained unresponsive to these appeals. They tied the injured man to the bonnet of the vehicle and drove off, even though two ambulances were waiting nearby.

On video footage shared on social media, you can see a man tied to the bonnet of a military jeep. The vehicle passes by two ambulances and drives away.
The Israeli military confirmed that the incident took place. The Israeli Defence Forces issued a statement. It said that soldiers violated military protocol because "the suspect was taken by the forces while tied on top of a vehicle." The military stated that the "conduct of the forces in the video of the incident does not conform to the values" of the Israeli army. It announced that the incident would be investigated.
The man was treated by Red Crescent workers - Reuters reported. However, it is not known what his condition is or whether he is still in the hospital.
