New album announcement from Taylor Swift

On the 4th of February, the Grammy awards were in full swing. The coveted American music awards were bestowed upon the industry's biggest stars, with a distinct emphasis on many women. Taylor Swift, currently one of pop music's most influential artists, received an award for her album "Midnights". The event also served as a platform for her to make a significant announcement.

Speculation was rife among users on Portal X that Taylor would announce a re-edition of her 2017 album "Reputation" during the evening. Hints about the upcoming announcement were scattered across her social media posts, including black and white photos, stirring fans to hypothesize about "Reputation (Taylor’s Version)". One user on Portal X stated: "I went to sleep thinking that Taylor will announce ‘Reputation TV’. I woke up to find out she's releasing a new album". Another fan added: "Every time we anticipate the announcement of ‘Reputation TV’, we end up with a brand new album."

During her acceptance speech, Taylor Swift declared the release of a new album on 19th April this year, entitled "The Tortured Poets Department". An accompanying photo on Instagram revealed the album cover.
