Volunteers from the "Siberian Battalion" have reportedly gained control of Lozova Rudka, a border town in the Belgorod region. A shootout is currently underway in Tyotkino, located in the Kursk region, according to Pravda.
Residents of border villages have described hearing gunfire and have seen tanks moving in the area. Additionally, several armed groups driving in pickup trucks were observed near the border.
In related news, the Russian Freedom Legion released a video stating their intention to participate in the presidential elections in Russia. Moreover, they have shared footage purporting to show their troops crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border.
A plane has reportedly crashed in Ivanovo, situated northeast of Moscow. Witnesses have reported seeing smoke near the northern airport, and military equipment is said to be en route to the crash site. The aircraft is tentatively identified as an Il-76. No official statements have been made as of yet, Nexta reports.
