Sequel to 'Red, White & Royal Blue' promises more royal romance
The film adaptation of "Red, White & Royal Blue" by Casey McQuiston was a massive hit. So, it's no surprise that Prince Henry and the President of the USA's son, Alex, are making a comeback on the screen.

"Red, White & Royal Blue" was published in 2020. The novel won over fans—the romantic tension between Prince of Wales Henry and the President of the USA's son Alex could not go unnoticed. The book fits into contemporary trends while perfectly reflecting tropes already known in literature. They love each other but can't be together. Once, the reason was a social chasm, but today, conventions are seemingly different but essentially similar.
Last year, the "Red, White & Royal Blue" adaptation was released on Amazon Prime. The role of Prince Henry was portrayed by Nicholas Galitzine ("Bottoms", "The Idea of You", "Chambers"), and Alex was played by Taylor Zakhar Perez ("The Kissing Booth 2" and 3). The film was a hit, so the platform officially announced that another part of the story of the British prince and the first son of the USA will be released soon.

Amazon Prime released a very brief announcement. A poster appeared on the platform's socials that didn't even include a title. Honestly - it doesn't have to. Fans of the "Red, White & Royal Blue" production immediately understood what the graphic implies.
A picture of a broken cake references one of the most iconic scenes from the first part of the movie. The flags stuck in the cake represent Alex and Henry, and a candle with the number two is nothing else but a hint at the sequel of the contemporary aristocrats' story.
Work on the second part of "Red, White & Royal Blue" has started. Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez will return to their roles, and soon, we will see them again as a love-struck couple riddled with numerous contradictions and problems.
