Jude Bellingham caused a scandal during Saturday's Real Madrid match against RCD Espanyol. The Englishman was very displeased with the match referee, Jose Luis Munuera Montero's decisions, and for his gestures, he was given a yellow card. He then insulted the referee in a vulgar manner.

Jude Bellingham returned to play after a several-week break due to a muscle injury. The Royals' game, with his participation, looked much better, which only proves how important a player he is for coach Carlo Ancelotti and his team. Real Madrid defeated RCD Espanyol 4–1 in front of their home crowd, and the Englishman was one of the most outstanding players on the pitch.

Despite the excellent game, there were some unpleasant moments involving the English national team star. At one point, the 20-year-old fell to the ground, holding his shoulder, which looked very bad, considering his recent operation on that part of the body. Fortunately, he returned to play, but when he left the field, it was evident that he was in pain.

Shortly before the Englishman left the field, another unpleasant situation occurred in the 81st minute. Referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero then showed him a yellow card for gestures and discussions, which, according to the Royal player, was triggered by an incomprehensible decision of the referee. Cameras caught the player bad-mouthing the referee when he wasn't looking.

This is how Jude Bellingham's career has progressed so far

His football journey started at Birmingham City FC, where he debuted as a 16-year-old. His skills and on-field maturity quickly drew the attention of the world's biggest clubs.

In July 2020, Bellingham joined the German club Borussia Dortmund for a sum of £21 million, making him the most expensive 17-year-old in football history. His debut in the Bundesliga was impressive — he already made an assist in his first match. He quickly became a key player for the team, standing out not only with his technique but also with his game intelligence and tenacity.

Meanwhile, in July 2023, he joined Real Madrid, where he is one of the leaders and a very important element of coach Carlo Ancelotti's "puzzle."
