Russia's leading propagandist, Maria Zakharova, has urged the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to disclose a list of countries that have allowed Ukraine to "strike the Russian Federation".

Many reports from Russian media or representatives of the state are elements of propaganda. These reports are a part of the information warfare undertaken by the Russian Federation.

The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been asked to name the countries that supplied weapons to Ukraine, facilitating attacks on Russian territory, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

She was responding to a statement from the Latvian diplomatic department that Kyiv had received Western weapons from some partners with the green light to "strike the territory of Russia".

"The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs must produce this list of countries if it is truthful," she stated on her Telegram channel.

As reported by Ukrainian media, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže mentioned that Ukraine had obtained Western weapons from certain partners with permission to target Russian territory. "Not everyone announces this publicity, and it's even better not to talk about it out loud until a certain time. The main thing is the impact on the battlefield because there is a choice here: either talk about something loudly or do what needs to be done," remarked Braže.
