Tensions are rising in the Middle East. Following Hezbollah's attack in the town of Majdal Shams, Lebanon is expecting a retaliatory strike from the Israeli army. Many airlines have cancelled nighttime flights to Beirut. The airport in Lebanon's capital is in chaos.

In Saturday's rocket attack on a football field in the town of Majdal Shams, 12 teenagers and children were killed, and more than 30 people were injured. Israel blamed the Lebanese Hezbollah for the attack and announced a "very serious response".

Early Sunday morning, the Israeli air force conducted airstrikes on targets in southern Lebanon, but tensions remain high in the region. Israel may strike again with even greater force.

Due to the tense situation in the region, many people tried to leave Lebanon on Sunday.

There is a nervous atmosphere at Beirut International Airport. A video of a fight among passengers at one of the terminals has surfaced on social media.
