Zinedine Zidane began his managerial career at Real Madrid in 2016. The first period of his tenure brought incredible successes. Between 2016 and 2018, he won the Champions League three times, an unprecedented achievement.
In 2019, Zidane resumed the manager position, continuing his triumphant march and securing more trophies.
The role of Real Madrid's manager was not without its difficulties. Zidane had to contend with the severe health problems of his brother, Farid Zidane, who died of cancer in 2019.
This tragedy significantly impacted his professional and personal life. Moreover, managing a team as demanding as Real Madrid brought numerous controversies, especially concerning personnel decisions.
Zidane in Real Madrid attire
As emphasized, Adidas has unveiled the full Real Madrid kit for the current season. Zinedine Zidane stepped into the model role, advertising the shirt of "his" team alongside other legends.
In addition to the Frenchman, others who participated include Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Patrick Vieira (Arsenal), and Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich).
It's worth noting that Zidane had a tremendous career as a footballer. Zidane spent five successful years at Juventus, winning the Italian Championship twice, among other titles. In 2001, he moved to Real Madrid for a record transfer fee at the time.
At Real Madrid, Zidane won the Champions League in 2002, scoring a memorable goal in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
