In a conversation with COPE radio, Rafael Nadal did not dismiss the idea. Still, the tennis player's remarks do not suggest a future in the role of Real Madrid President. Rafael Nadal stressed that he would never run against the current club President, Florentino Perez.

"Presiding over Real Madrid is not in my life's plan. If circumstances change, the opportunity arises, and life offers me such an option... I am a huge fan of Real Madrid and football. I will undoubtedly never challenge Florentino Perez, because he's invaluable for Real. He has achieved much in challenging times," Rafael Nadal compliments the present President of the Royals.

The discussion about the tennis player's passion for the club, notably its prominent football section, continued, and the journalist enquired about a few aspects of Real Madrid's current operations. This includes the hot topic of recruiting Kylian Mbappe to the team.

"Thankfully, I don't have to make that decision. I believe Real have an exceptional team even after the havoc wreaked by injuries this season. With Mbappe, they would sport a formidable team, and if it were possible, I'd bring him to Madrid," states Rafael Nadal.

Current coach of the Royals, Carlo Ancelotti, and the team's major stars, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, also received high praise from the tennis player.- "What Jude has accomplished after joining the club, at 20 years old, is remarkable to me," highlights the 37-year-old.

Ongoing injuries are preventing Rafael Nadal from participating in tournaments. The Spaniard's dream is to compete in the Olympic Games on his favoured Roland Garros clay courts. Yet, time is ticking, and the distinguished athlete's return to peak form remains uncertain.
