The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, presented his nephew, 27-year-old Khamzat Kadyrov, with the Order of Courage. On his Telegram channel, the deputy of the State Duma from Chechnya, Adam Delimkhanov, announced this.
The decree awarding the Order was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The exact reasons for the award are unknown. Delimkhanov noted in his post that Khamzat Kadyrov "has been actively supporting Chechen fighters since the beginning of the so-called 'special military operation'".
What do we know about Kadyrov's nephew? He is currently the Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya, the Minister of Property and Land Relations of the region, and an assistant to his uncle in the security block.
Interestingly, in 2023, Khamzat Kadyrov was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd class, and the title Hero of Chechnya.
Putin honored the Kadyrovs
It is worth emphasizing that the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, decorated the mother of the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, with the Order of Honour.
69-year-old Aimani Kadyrov has many awards and titles. Among them is the Order of Friendship "for contribution to strengthening peace and friendship among the peoples of the North Caucasus".

Kadyrov owes almost everything to the Russian leader. Due to his position and his role in Chechnya, he is not only closely connected with but also dependent on the Russian Federation's authorities.
