Puff pastry rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 package of puff pastry (it's good to find the "XXL" version),
- 250 grams of your favourite block cheese,
- 1 egg.
Preparation:
- Roll out the dough. The optimal thickness here is about 5 mm.
- Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it. Then, use a brush to spread it over the surface of the puff pastry.
- Grate the cheese and spread it over the surface of the dough. Leave an empty strip at the top to seal everything.
- Roll up the pastry. You'll find this a breeze if you've ever made homemade sushi.
- Cut the rolled pastry into pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them once more with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C. Done!
