Prince Harry was deeply affected by the news of his father's illness. In an interview for the "Good Morning America" programme, he admitted that this situation has become a catalyst for his desire to reconcile with his brother and other members of the royal family.
As a reminder, at the start of 2020, Harry renounced his title and began a private life with his partner Meghan in Canada. In recent days, the ex-royal couple has been under intense media scrutiny following numerous reports about a crisis in their relationship and the loss of sponsors for their Archewell Foundation.
The king's son returned to the UK immediately upon the public announcement that Charles III has prostate cancer. The meeting at Clarence House in London lasted for a mere half an hour.
Harry is earnestly seeking to mend his relationships with the royal family. Rumours have also been circulating that his most recent statements suggest a wish to return to the palace. However, the British press seem resolute in their viewpoint that there is absolutely no possibility of Harry rejoining the royal family.
The UK media unanimously conclude that there's no space for Harry in the palace as his heir to the throne, Prince William, harbours distrust towards him and his partner.
"There is no consideration about partially reassuming his family duties during his father's, King Charles III's, illness," British newspapers assert.
