President Zelensky also reported new agreements with allies concerning support for the Ukrainian armed forces.

“Russian forces failed to carry out the Kharkiv operation,” stated Zelensky. “We are holding them back as much as possible and eliminating Russian units entering our territory and terrorising the Kharkiv region. The front in the Kharkiv area has been reinforced and will be further strengthened,” the President of Ukraine said in his Saturday video recording.

Zelensky also highlighted the situation in the Donetsk region, which he described as "the most difficult at the moment." He emphasized that "efforts are being made to strengthen the Ukrainian troops with reserves."

"New solutions" for Ukraine

The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the United States and France for "new solutions" for the Ukrainian armed forces that resulted from talks and meetings he participated in France. Among these solutions, Zelensky mentioned the production of six-inch artillery ammunition on Ukrainian territory.

Zelensky emphasized that "there are already agreements with our partners regarding additional air defence systems for Ukraine." He added that soldiers' training and new agreements on security guarantees are also planned. The President of Ukraine pointed out that these new agreements and plans are crucial for further strengthening the Ukrainian armed forces.
