Overlooked danger in your home: How to clean radiators and reduce health risks
It can be rather difficult to clean radiators given their positioning close to the wall and the numerous narrow gaps they possess. Fitting a hand in these spaces with a cleaning cloth can be downright impossible. Nevertheless, a thorough clean is crucial for maintaining good health.

Dust in the air is dangerous indeed. It can lead to chronic fatigue, watery eyes, malaise, headaches, migraines, and in severe cases, provoke allergies, including atopic dermatitis, which is difficult to treat.
Here's how to dust your radiator in less than five minutes
Cleaning a radiator necessitates attention to its interior. In older, ribbed radiators, a simple wipe with a damp cloth would suffice. However, panel radiators can prove more challenging, particularly due to the top protection. Thoroughly cleaning the inside without removing the top grate can be difficult. But it's not impossible.
We have a simple trick to thoroughly clean a panel radiator without removing the grate. All you need are a large bin bag and a hairdryer. It's vital to ensure that the radiator is switched off and preferably cold before you begin.
Cleaning a radiator with a hairdryer is a simple process. Fasten a bin bag to the bottom part of the radiator; adhesive tape can be handy here. In the case of larger radiators, you might have to tape several bags together. Pierce the bag with a needle in several places — this is crucial. Otherwise, the plastic might melt. After affixing the bag, grab your hairdryer. Turn on as strong a blow as possible and position it at the top of the radiator, perpendicularly. This will direct the dust into the bag rather than circulate it around the room.
