Oat bran pancakes: A nutritious twist to your breakfast routine

Oat bran pancakes, unlike cottage cheese pancakes, contain more fibre and less protein, so these two recipes can be used interchangeably.

Recipe for oat bran pancakes
Only four ingredients, zero fat, and a few moments of frying. Oat bran pancakes can be served both savoury and sweet; however, they taste best when served hot.
Ingredients:
- 5 tablespoons of oat bran,
- 60 grams of natural yogurt,
- 1 small egg,
- a pinch of salt,
- 60 grams of raisins.
Preparation:
- Pour the oat bran into a bowl and mix it with the yogurt and egg yolk.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff.
- Gently fold the egg white into the pancake batter.
- Finally, add the raisins and mix again.
- Fry on a well-heated non-stick pan.
- Serve warm with homemade jam or preserves.
