The speculations were confirmed. The band Oasis is returning to the stage after more than a decade. The first dates of the 2025 concert tour have already appeared online. The information caused a considerable stir, and the band's website stopped working due to server overload.

Oasis returns. Fans of the band in euphoria

The band Oasis existed for nearly two decades. It was formed in 1991 by the musicians of The Rain, namely Liam Gallagher, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. The final line-up was formed when the singer's five-year-older brother, Noel Gallagher, joined the group. The Manchester-based group has sold over 75 million copies of their albums worldwide. Among the band's most famous songs are hits like "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," "Champagne Supernova," and "Whatever." In 2009, the group announced their breakup.

Oasis broke up years ago due to the Gallagher brothers' quarrels

On 22 August 2009, Oasis held their last concert, and a few days later, the rest of the performances on the "Dig Out Your Soul" tour were cancelled. On 28 August 2009, the group officially announced their breakup. The main reason cited was the exceedingly turbulent relationship between the Gallagher brothers.

It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. Apologies to all the people who bought tickets to the shows in Paris Konstanz and Milan - announced Noel Gallagher 15 years ago.

Oasis fans will undoubtedly remember the notorious incident in May 2001, when Liam Gallagher, backstage at a concert in Barcelona, questioned the paternity of his older brother, who had just had a daughter. A serious fight broke out between the brothers - according to witnesses, the musicians were punching each other.

Liam Gallagher was particularly known for initiating brotherly conflicts. For many years, his inflated ego and rebellious nature stood in the way of the band's return to the stage. Even their 81-year-old mother, Peggy, tried to reconcile them, but it seemed impossible. As recently as April this year, Noel Gallagher emphasised there was no point in waiting for Oasis to reunite.

I’ve never mentioned Oasis reunion, it’s over, we must all really move in for our own mental health - he wrote a few months ago.

This is how much Oasis members are expected to earn from the tour. Record-breaking interest in the concerts

Though it’s hard to believe, the legendary band decided to return after 15 years. British media report that the group is expected to earn an astounding £400 million from the planned 2025 concert tour. Four concerts will be held at Wembley Stadium in London as part of the just-announced tour. The NME portal reported such massive interest in concerts in the UK that the owners of one of the significant ticket-selling companies decided to cancel their employees' holiday leaves. Tickets will go on sale on 31 August.
