North Korean soldier's letter reveals theft on Russian front
A photo of a handwritten letter from a North Korean soldier who came to fight on the side of Russia against Ukraine has appeared online. The soldier wrote about an act he committed while on the front line.
At the end of October and beginning of November, information emerged about the presence of North Korean soldiers on the front line in Ukraine. In this way, Kim Jong-Un's regime directly supported Vladimir Putin's aggression. It was estimated that about 10,000 Korean soldiers were involved in the military actions.
Kim's soldiers were supposed to help the Russians expel the Ukrainians from the Kursk region. However, experts noted that the Koreans do not have a high level of combat capability and experience. Still, in the face of Ukraine's deteriorating situation and a wave of desertions, even such reinforcement should be considered significant.

From time to time, new reports about North Korean soldiers appear. A letter from one of them has surfaced online. The soldier wrote directly about what he has on his conscience.
The Supreme Commander Kim ordered us never to disgrace the honour of our homeland, demonstrating the strength and courage of special forces. While working in the barracks, thinking no one was watching me, I took things belonging to a Russian and hid them in my pocket - wrote the Korean.
The soldier wrote that he violated standards by stealing property belonging to another country. He added that such behaviour could have serious consequences for his comrades.
I will never again trade in things belonging to other people. I will be heroically engaged on the front line and in the fight against the enemy - added the author of the letter.
Finally, we learn who the author of the letter was. Gyeong Hong Jong was killed in the Kursk region.
