No-bake cake with bananas
A forgotten pack of biscuits, cream cheese with whipped cream, bananas, and pineapple - that's all it takes to create a delicious cake. No oven, no unnecessary mess, and no lengthy preparations.
Just combine all the ingredients and chill. You can prepare the dessert the day before serving, but only three hours are sufficient to enjoy a delicious treat. This recipe is inspired by the iconic American dessert "banana split," which is based on ice cream, banana, and fruit toppings. This version definitely surpasses the original.
Ingredients:
- 255g oat biscuits,
- 70g melted butter,
- 400g cream cheese,
- 50g sugar,
- 310g 30% double cream,
- 2 bananas,
- 200g pineapple,
- chocolate sauce for topping,
- cherries in syrup for decoration.
Instructions:
Step 1. Blend or crush the biscuits very finely and transfer to a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the biscuit mixture. Form the base by pressing the mixture into the tray and place it in the refrigerator.
Step 2. Mix the cream cheese with the sugar, and separately whip the cream. Combine the cream cheese and cream. Spread half on the biscuit base.
Step 3. Layer the banana slices and chopped pineapple pieces on the cream layer. Spread the remaining cream mixture evenly over the entire cake. Refrigerate for at least three hours.
Step 4. Decorate the cake with cherries and chocolate sauce and cut into pieces. Enjoy!
