Spain battles catastrophe
Spanish media have reported that the destructive natural disaster has already claimed over 70 lives, a number that may still rise. Additionally, there is substantial material damage. In such circumstances, football and other sports competitions have taken a back seat.
The match between Manises and Getafe will not take place. Coach Santi Marin said it is impossible to organise the match in Torrent, a city about 10 minutes from Valencia, one of the areas most affected by the disaster.
