21-year-old Noémie started as a hostess in VIP lounges and also pursued a career in modelling. She was last seen around 1 a.m., about 1.6 kilometres from her home, reports the French portal 75secondes.fr.
Importantly, the media initially reported that the victim was from Poland. It is now known that this information was not confirmed. The mentioned portal states that Noémie was helping a 48-year-old Nigerian man who had arrived in France 2 years ago. Love O. was known to the police for minor offences. His partner reported to investigators that she received a message from him stating that he had "done something very stupid."

According to 75secondes.fr, the police revealed Noémie's body in the apartment; she was partially naked. Clear signs of violence were visible on her body, including an open throat wound. The Nigerian man attempted suicide by combining drugs and alcohol, but the authorities saved his life. He was taken to hospital and is the main suspect in the murder case.
French media add that the 21-year-old was known for being kind and always willing to help. She was teaching the migrant the French language and assisting with administrative matters. They had known each other for at least two years.
