According to the latest data, the number of victims of the terrorist attack near Moscow has risen to 144 people, with another 182 victims in the hospital. On Tuesday, we reported that the Investigative Committee in Russia is demanding the arrest of the eighth suspect in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, the 32-year-old chef and businessman Alisher Kasimow.

The case materials have been handed over to the facility in Basmanny. The man has already appeared before the court, and a preventive measure will be applied to him in the near future.

Meanwhile, on Telegram, a story has appeared about the mother of the arrested Alisher Kasimow, who had rented an apartment to the terrorists.

According to the 59-year-old woman, her son supposedly did not know the people to whom he rented the apartment. According to her account, they told him they came to work on a construction site. When she found out about her son's arrest, she flew to Moscow.

He has three young children. Together with his wife, they took out a mortgage for that apartment. My son works hard every day. I was proud of him, as a mother. My son is not the kind of person the authorities claim he is. It's unreal - said the mother of the detained 32-year-old, quoted by the channel Baza.

Putin met on Monday evening with representatives of the security services and local authorities of Moscow and the Moscow region. He pointed out that "the issue of the participation of Islamists in the attack in Krasnogorsk must be clarified".
