An unusual incident unfolded during an audience with Pope Francis in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican. As "La Repubblica," an Italian newspaper, reported, security services apprehended a dangerous criminal. The individual, 54-year-old Moises Tejada, is on the list of most wanted criminals in New York. He was caught carrying dangerous items.

"La Repubblica" disclosed details about the event. Moises Tejada, a 54-year-old American, was present in St. Peter's Square. He had come to participate in Pope Francis's audience alongside other attendees.

Tejada's visit to the Vatican concluded with his arrest. The police, noticing his suspicious behaviour, decided to act. According to "La Repubblica," Tejada resisted arrest, and upon searching him, three knives, each approximately 20 centimetres long, were discovered. However, these were not his sole transgressions.

Kidnapper and thief

"La Repubblica" has identified Tejada as a formidable criminal wanted by authorities in the United States. He is notorious for abducting and robbing real estate agents, placing him on the criminal list in New York state. In an attempt to evade capture, he fled the country.

Before his arrival in Italy, 54-year-old Tejada had spent around two years in Ukraine. "La Repubblica" reports that he was there to engage in military activities. Eventually, he decided to head to Italy, traveling through Moldova to get there.
