The Mercedes team drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell delighted fans with a humorous photoshoot for their sponsor, Tommy Hilfiger. Instead of their typical outfits, they decided to swap wardrobes.

Lewis Hamilton, known for his bold fashion choices, wore clothes selected by George Russell this time. George opted for the Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff style, dressing Hamilton in brown chinos, a black shirt, and loafers, and intentionally skipping the socks.

Hamilton couldn't hide his satisfaction, describing the "freshness" in his ankles. He was quoted as saying that his ankles had never felt such wind.

In return, Hamilton dressed Russell in a bright red coat and baggy trousers, which caused much laughter among fans. One fan wrote: "Lewis looks like a supply teacher," while another added about Russell: "He looks like Slim Shady."

During the photoshoot, the drivers were told they resembled a boyband. Hamilton wittily named their duo "Wrong Direction."

Besides the fashion revolution, both drivers, currently in sixth and seventh positions in the F1 standings, are hoping for a promotion during the upcoming Singapore GP.
