According to TMZ, before his death, Payne was texting his friend, Roger Nores. At that time, Liam was staying at the CasaSur Hotel, while his friend was staying at another venue. On the night of 15 October, the musician ordered four bottles of whisky and then another five in the early morning of 16 October.
