LEGO unveils Twilight set: Build your own Cullen house
LEGO has indeed done it. Fans of "Twilight" can get excited and start saving, as the first set inspired by the bestselling saga will soon be released. Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Now that's an announcement! Hoa Hoa Hoa Season has just ended, but it might start over again. Imagine a "Twilight" marathon with a blue tint, accompanied by the music of Muse, Lykke Li, Bon Iver, Paramore, Linkin Park, and, of course, "Eyes on Fire" by Blue Foundation as the soundtrack. To snack on, perhaps mushroom ravioli or a burger with chips and ketchup (a must for the true fans). Alternatively, embrace the Italian cuisine vibe.
This is the dream setup for building the dream block set that LEGO has just delivered. Hold tight, spider monkey, because the "Twilight" era is beginning anew. All thanks to the design by user LobsterThermidor on the LEGO Ideas website. Their idea has now been officially brought to life.
The set, LEGO 21354 Twilight: The Cullen House, consists of 2001 pieces and is priced at approximately £189.99. The set showcases the three-storey Cullen family house. A delightful addition is Bella's red pickup truck and Jacob's wolf form.
Bella, look. It's a LEGO Cullen House!
Photos of the set look truly impressive. "Twilight" fans will be able to recreate many iconic scenes from the first film. The details are fantastic: in Edward's room, there is no bed, but there are some distinctive vinyl records. We also see a piano, a display of graduation caps (which is delightful), and a showcase kitchen. "Is she even Italian? Her name is Bella" - this iconic moment has to be repeated.
The LEGO Cullen House includes seven minifigures: Bella, Edward, Alice, Carlisle, Rosalie, Jacob, and Charlie. The vampires have two faces - one with dark eyes (meaning they are hungry) and one with light eyes (indicating they are satisfied). This allows us to decide whether they are particularly tempted by Bella's blood while hosting her.
The set debuts on 1st February. Exciting, isn't it?
