Kanye West appeared in Moscow at the end of June 2024 for the birthday of his close friend Gosha Rubchinskiy. Rubchinskiy is a famous Russian fashion designer. His clothing and accessories fit Kanye West's style. The rapper combined private interests with potential earnings.

The artist's concert is scheduled for 7 September 2024; however, West noted that if he does not receive the requested money, the event date will be changed.
Kanye West has not officially commented on the reports regarding the concert in Moscow. Performing in the capital of Russia carries a potential risk associated with the rapper's connection to Vladimir Putin.
