In a YouGov poll commissioned by the University of Massachusetts conducted on 1,000 respondents, 46% indicated that they want to vote for Kamala Harris.

According to the pollster, 43% of respondents want to cast their vote for Donald Trump. Meanwhile, 6% want to vote for Robert Kennedy Jr., the third candidate.

As the university emphasises, the previous survey was conducted in January. At that time, the leader was Donald Trump—43% of respondents wanted to vote for him, 39% for Joe Biden, and 9% for Robert Kennedy Jr.

Why do people want to vote for Harris and Trump?

Reasons for voting for Trump and Harris were also examined. Of the Republican candidates, 75% expressed a positive opinion about his previous term, and nearly half believed that he would "save America."

In Harris's case, 66% want to vote for her because she "represents a new generation" in politics, and 37% are convinced that her presidency will improve the United States' position in the world.

The majority of voters believe that Trump will better handle the economy, crime, migration, and wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. At the same time, the majority believe that Harris will have a better approach to healthcare, climate change, and education.
