After concluding his tenure at Juventus FC, Pavel Nedvěd finds himself unable to lead a peaceful life due to potential fraud issues within the club. A new indictment has implicated the Czech in the case.

During his football career, Pavel Nedvěd attained the status of a Juventus FC legend. It is unsurprising that he returned in a completely different capacity six years after leaving the club and retiring as a player.

In 2015, the Czech joined Juventus and became a vice president. However, on 28 November 2022, he and the entire club board resigned following media revelations of a scandal concerning irregularities at the Old Lady. Information about debt was concealed, some salaries were not recorded, and inflated transfer amounts were reported.

Consequently, in January 2023, Nedvěd was banned for 8 months from holding any position in the Italian Football Federation and affiliated clubs. Now, the 51-year-old is again in the spotlight.

Agency ANSA has reported that another indictment concerning capital gains has been submitted to the prosecutor's office. Specifically, it involves manipulating shares or issuing false invoices.

Juventus officials, including the Czech, are among the accused. They face potential imprisonment and no leniency this time, so the former player has reasons to worry about his future.
