True to her workaholic nature, Jennifer Lopez is not thinking of giving up the numerous activities that keep adding zeros to her account. With commendable dedication, she is expanding her empire. Rumour has it that the artist is taking on more and more projects to distract herself from the escalating crisis in her marriage with Ben Affleck.
Since the celebrity couple walked down the aisle, rumours of "trouble in paradise" keep returning to the tabloids like a boomerang. It is said that Jennifer and Ben are both temperamental, which supposedly leads to regular arguments and heated discussions. While such misunderstandings are quite natural in private situations, sometimes, they let their negative emotions spill over during public appearances.
The latest reports claim that the multimillionaire is currently not doing well in her private life or professional career. A risky venture by the artist, namely a new album and accompanying movie musical, into which she invested £16 million from her pocket, became a commercial and artistic failure. Moreover, the documentary by Amazon, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which shows the behind-the-scenes of the project, made the 54-year-old a laughingstock. Adding to this is the prolonged separation from Ben, who is currently working on the sequel to the movie "The Accountant."
While Ben is reportedly happy to be busy and finally catch his breath away from his controlling wife, the desperate actress is said to be increasingly in need of his attention daily.
"She requires constant assurance that she is loved and adored," the source tells the magazine. "But now she's not getting what she wants from her husband, and Ben is becoming increasingly defensive and gloomy. Cracks are starting to show. The honeymoon is over. It's clear that if they want to stay in marriage, both have to change their behaviour."
Meanwhile, another person with access to confidential information about the couple's life reveals they are in a tough situation not only because of "complications" in Jennifer's career. The star is catching backlash for a scandal involving her ex-lover Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was accused of human trafficking, sexual assault, and drugging and forcing his subordinate to have sex with sex workers.
"Jennifer has fallen from grace, and it's her fault," says the magazine source. "She creates her reality, and people have stopped buying her lies. They label her as fake and narcissistic, someone who is deaf and blind to the real world around her."
