Israeli army reshuffles ranks after deadly attack on aid convoy
The commander of the Israeli army, Herzi Halevi, has decided to issue reprimands to three senior officers. Two others are leaving their positions - according to Israeli media. These actions are repercussions of an assault on a World Central Kitchen convoy in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of seven volunteers.

Halevi's decisions come amid ongoing investigations to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the attack on the humanitarian aid convoy of the World Central Kitchen, which occurred on Monday in the Gaza Strip.
As reported by Israeli Channel 14, the commander of the Nachal Brigade and one of the unit’s high-ranking officers are losing their positions.
Furthermore, reprimands were handed down to other commanders within the brigade and from the army's 162nd division. Channel 14 highlights that, following the attack, procedures for approving drone strikes are set to be altered.
Attack on the WCK volunteer convoy
The Israeli strike, leading to the death of seven World Central Kitchen volunteers in the Gaza Strip on Monday evening, was reportedly executed under suspicion that the convoy was transporting a terrorist - "Haaretz" reports. The newspaper, citing an informed source, emphasized that three missiles targeted the convoy.
The vehicles in convoy were distinctly marked, and the Israeli defence forces had been notified of its route and destination. Consequently, the convoy was proceeding in accordance with established guidelines.
