ISIS claims Moscow attack as Russia points finger at Ukraine
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Moscow, but Russia is doing everything to link them to Ukraine. Dmitry Peskov was asked how Islamic radicals could be associated with the authorities in Kyiv, given that President Zelensky is Jewish. In response, Peskov stated that Zelensky is "a specific kind of Jew" who "shows sympathy towards the nationalist movement."

War in Ukraine. The most important information in our live coverage
Many of the reports coming from Russian media and government representatives are likely not true. These reports may be part of an informational war on the part of the Russian Federation.
On Friday, terrorists attacked the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. Fire was opened on the audience, explosive devices were detonated, and a fire led to the roof of the building collapsing. 139 people died, and 182 were injured.
The Islamic State's Khorasan province claimed responsibility for the attack. Russian authorities claim that the four perpetrators of the attack who were captured are not citizens of Russia.
On Tuesday, a journalist asked Peskov "how can Islamists be related to Ukraine, which is led by a Jew?"
- Well, there is a specific Jew who in many ways shows sympathy and attraction to the nationalist movement, which has permeated the leadership of the Kyiv regime - replied the Kremlin spokesperson.

The attacks in Moscow. Putin's response
Since the attack, Russia has been attempting to link the terrorist act with Ukraine. This is despite strong denials from Ukrainian officials that Kyiv had anything to do with it.
On Saturday, Vladimir Putin gave a special statement. He assured that everyone involved in the "bloody and barbaric attack" will be punished. The dictator repeated information previously announced by the Federal Security Service. In his address to the Russian nation, he mentioned that 11 people were detained, and also emphasized that "four perpetrators headed towards Ukraine", where an "opportunity to cross the border" was supposedly prepared for them.
Meanwhile, the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Russia. "The attack takes place in the context of the raging war between the Islamic State and countries fighting against Islam" - reported Amaq, a news agency associated with ISIS.
