Warning: This recipe will make you eat more potatoes than ever before. If roasted potatoes shouldn't be in your diet, you better leave this article quickly. Otherwise, welcome to the recipe that will make you feel as if you're at a campfire!

Each of us has our own food "guilty pleasure." Sinful pleasures can be caused by sweets, fast foods, cakes, or... roasted potatoes. Yes, we believe this simple snack can be more addictive than chocolate. Preparing them the right way exposes us to greedy binge eating that we can't stop. And you know what? As Lord Farquaad, the villain from "Shrek," used to say, it's a sacrifice we are ready to make.

To make the roasted potatoes perfectly delicious and feel like they're at a campfire, a special blend of spices is necessary. Just salt alone is not enough. It’s worth reaching for the mix described below, thoroughly mixing it with the potatoes, and only then baking them. This is a tried-and-true method—you can trust us. However, we recommend testing it immediately because the taste of these roasted potatoes speaks louder than a thousand words!

  1. Peel the potatoes. Rinse them thoroughly, and cut them into quarters.
  2. In a pot, bring water to boil. Add the chopped cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of salt. Add the potatoes only when the water starts to boil. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes. Then drain.
  3. It's time to prepare the spice mix. In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, granulated garlic, rosemary, pepper, and salt. Add the potato starch, ensuring the potato is crispy.
  4. Pour this marinade over the potatoes and mix. Transfer the whole thing to an ovenproof dish.
  5. Put in an oven preheated to 220 degrees Celsius. Bake for 40-50 minutes. At the end, sprinkle with chopped parsley leaves. Enjoy!
