Nowadays, dishwashers are found in almost every home. It is very important to maintain them well and avoid unnecessary repair costs to ensure they work properly for many years.

How can you clean a dishwasher to ensure it's done thoroughly? A simple trick will make cleaning the dishwasher effortless.

Take care of your dishwasher. This method will make it sparkle

You will need baking soda, citric acid, and vinegar. Measure the baking soda and citric acid and sprinkle them inside the dishwasher. Apply vinegar to the inside of the door and polish it with a cloth. Place the previously unscrewed upper and lower sprayers and the part holding the microfilter in the dishwasher drawer. Close the dishwasher and select the "clean" option on the panel. And that’s where our work ends. We then calmly wait for the products we placed inside to work their magic.

After this trick, when the dishwasher finishes cleaning, everything should shine like new!

Not just the cleaning trio

In addition to vinegar, citric acid, and baking soda, it's good to know additional tricks to keep the dishwasher in perfect condition. Every month, it's worth performing a full cleaning using only vinegar. You can also use lemon, which acts as a disinfectant and helps remove grease and scale.

Cleaning the dishwasher is vital to its longevity. Regularly caring for the appliance will avoid unpleasant odours and issues with ineffective dishwashing.
