How do you clean the oven without putting in too much effort? Home methods, in this case, can transform this sometimes irritating task and make the troublesome appliance shine in just a few moments. Anyone who struggles to keep their frequently used oven in order should know this method.

Quickly, effectively, and practically without effort

Dried grease and food residues are often challenging when thoroughly cleaning the oven. Scrubbing is very labour-intensive. Not all cleaning products can handle tough stains. Interestingly, household products that you wouldn't think would help can keep the kitchen tidy. The following method will make your oven shine. All you need is water, vinegar, and lemon.

Pour water into an oven-safe dish, add a small amount of vinegar and the juice of one lemon, place the dish on the middle rack of the oven, and heat it to about 120°C. Close the door and wait half an hour. The mixture should start to vaporise, dissolving all the dried dirt. After the designated time, turn off the oven and let it cool. Then, take a previously soaked cloth and wipe off the residues. Everything should come off effortlessly.

How does it work?

Both vinegar and lemon are natural acids with solid cleaning properties. When they turn into steam in the oven, they reach even the most hidden crevices.

This method is not only practical but also more eco-friendly. It doesn't require the purchase of expensive, specialised products, which is also beneficial for our wallet.
