How to bake festive candy cane cookies for the holidays
The holidays are an excellent time for baking, and children can easily get involved. These candy cane-shaped cookies are perfect for the festive season. It's best to start with a straightforward recipe everyone can master, regardless of their baking skills.
Besides cheesecakes, poppy seed cakes, and gingerbread cookies, these treats are delightful options for the sweet offerings in December. Anything based on a buttery, crumbly dough can serve as the foundation for creative bakes that will rival store-bought options. With candy canes—the original sweets resemble the famous icicles in Polish tradition—it's a challenge to finish them all due to their sugar content. However, cookies in their shape will surely vanish to the last crumb!

They are relatively easy to make, fun to decorate, and most importantly, taste delightful.
