A clean bathroom is not just about getting rid of dust. The largest number of bacteria and microorganisms gather on the toilet. Therefore, we should ensure its cleanliness and, above all, regularly take care of the seat. How do this? We'll show you how!
What to use for cleaning stains on the toilet seat?
We use the toilet and the seat at least several times a day. Therefore, it's not enough to just wipe it with a cloth or wet paper during cleaning. You need to use products to eliminate bacteria and other microorganisms. These don't have to be specialised products.
If you have regular shaving foam at home, you can quickly remove all stains on the toilet seat. Just apply the foam to the dirty areas and wait at least 30 minutes. Then, carefully wipe the seat with a cloth, and you're done!
Shaving foam seems like an unusual product for cleaning the toilet seat. However, it contains ingredients that can handle deposits and even limescale. You can also use it to clean other areas in the bathroom, such as the tap.
This is how you get rid of stains
Another but equally effective trick for cleaning the toilet seat is using baking soda and vinegar. This combination will restore the seat to its perfect snow-white colour. Sprinkle the stains with a generous amount of baking soda and then spray with vinegar. Wait 30 minutes and thoroughly wash the seat.
You can use grapefruit and salt if you don't have baking soda and vinegar at home. Cut the fruit in half, dip it in salt, then wipe the seat. This will make it shine with cleanliness.
