She was only 20 years old when she had her first plastic surgery. She frequently chose to "enhance" her appearance in the following years. In 2009, she underwent as many as ten cosmetic procedures in one day, after which fans believed she no longer resembled herself.

Heidi Montag "queen" of plastic surgeries

Heidi Montag attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she met the then-emerging reality show star Lauren Conrad, who helped her take her first steps in show business.

The student from Colorado quickly got into the programme "The Hills", which brought her fame and recognition. She did not expect that it would be there that she would meet her future husband.

The celebrity quickly "embraced" fame. Not only did she become a regular guest on other shows, but she also decided to make a few changes in her appearance.

Heidi Montag changed her life

Years later, Heidi Montag openly admits that she regrets many of the surgeries she underwent.

– I definitely regret the surgeries that I have had over the years, I think I was so young and in such an unstable situation in my life with so much going on and so much pressure - Heidi told the Mail Online.

The celebrity could always count on her husband's support, however.

"Heidi thought people would stop criticizing her if she got surgery. Everything she did came from people criticizing her in the comments on Us Weekly and People magazine. She brought printouts of what the trolls and haters said to the doctor and said, 'Can we do something about this?' Everyone’s insecure but it’s different when you’re young and on TV and everyone’s talking about you," revealed Spencer Pratt in an interview with "Cosmopolitan."

Today, Heidi Montag fully focuses on her family, raising their two children together with her husband.
