GOP congressman: Only Trump can end Ukraine war and heal economy

- We need to end this war, take care of it, and that can only be done if Donald Trump is our new president - said Republican Congressman from Florida, Byron Donald. According to him, Kamala Harris cannot negotiate an agreement, and "Putin does not respect her."

On the upcoming presidential elections in the USA, Republican Congressman from Florida Byron Donalds spoke with TVN24 correspondent Marcin Wrona. Asked about the war in Ukraine, he stated that he wants it to end, and in the event of Kamala Harris taking office, "the situation will only worsen."

"Kamala Harris can't do it"

- Vladimir Putin does not respect her. We need to end this war, take care of it, and that can only be done if Donald Trump is our new president - he added.

He also stated that a person is needed "who truly knows how to negotiate an agreement." - Kamala Harris cannot do it, but we know that Donald Trump can - he declared.

When asked how Trump intends to gain the votes of voters of Polish descent, of whom there are approximately 570,000 in Pennsylvania, Donalds stated that "their message is the same to all voters" and "whether you are an American of Polish descent or another, the economy must work." - According to today's statistics, we're talking about 9,000 jobs (in Pennsylvania - ed.) - he said, also stating that Republicans want legal immigration and "hard borders hurt every American."

- We want people to come to us legally, just like many Americans of Polish descent came to our country - he declared.

"What Biden said is fundamentally different"

Donalds also referred to the widely commented situation during a recent Trump rally when right-wing comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico "a rubbish island" and, among other things, stated that Latinos "like making babies." After this statement, the Republican campaign team quickly stated that "it does not reflect the views" of Trump.

In response to these words, Joe Biden stated that "the only rubbish he sees are his supporters," later explaining on social media that he referred to the hateful language against Puerto Ricans, not Trump voters, as "rubbish."

According to Donalds, "these situations are incomparable." He explained that the words about the "rubbish island" were spoken by a comedian who is not a member of the Trump campaign team and was not speaking on its behalf.

- However, what Joe Biden said is fundamentally different, because Biden is the sitting President of the United States, and he truly thinks this about approximately half of our country - he declared.
