Are you worried because your house is always a mess? Do you struggle to motivate yourself to tidy up every day? Good news—you're not alone. Those who always keep their homes as if they had just done a thorough cleaning have their proven tricks. Just learn and implement them. How to keep your home tidy? Stick to four habits.
You might think that to keep your house in order, you need to clean every day. You might believe that to get rid of the mess once and for all, you don't have to work professionally, and instead, focus solely on the house? You're mistaken. Adopt these 4 habits, and even if you're very busy or just lazy — no unexpected guest visit will catch you off guard. Believe that you will also find it more pleasurable to live in an organized and clean space.
What to do to keep the house clean?
Here's the secret of exemplary homemakers. Try to do these 4 things every day, and the mess will no longer overwhelm you.

#1 Make the bed every day

When you get up in the morning, always try to make the bed right away. Don't leave it for later or give up on it entirely. If you do it right after waking up, you will immediately feel the sense of order. The room will immediately start to look tidier, and you will have more energy because a spread-out bedspread won't tempt you when you're moving around the room before heading to work.

#2 Put away clothes and store shoes

If clothes are scattered around your space, it looks bad. Scattered hats or shoes also don't reflect well on their owner. If you want to keep your house tidy, always store shoes in a cabinet when you return from work. Immediately sort clothes into those that should go to the washing machine and those that can be worn again. Don't throw them on the bed or chair; let them be in the wardrobe or drawer. It's a small habit that doesn't require much effort but changes a lot.

#3 Do laundry regularly

How often do you do laundry? If you want to keep your house tidy, parting ways with doing laundry once a week is best. By washing clothes every 2-3 days, you will have less work on the weekend and ensure there's always room on the drying rack. Consistency is key to success!

#4 Put everything back in its place

People who have a clean and tidy home share one common feature. They know where to find specific things immediately because there's no way they would be in a random place. Need a stapler? It should be on the desk. Need a measuring tape? It should be where you keep tools. Once you use them, don't mindlessly throw them on the table, but put them back in their place immediately. You won't later waste time running around the house looking for items that aren't where they should be.

  • Don't leave your shoes scattered on the floor - put them away in the cupboard.
  • Make the bed as soon as you get up in the morning.
  • Do laundry regularly.
  • Keep all things in their place, you'll find them easier.
  • Put clothes away in the wardrobe or throw them into the washing machine - not on the chair.
