A shocking incident has occurred in England. Edward Snook, a 33-year-old firefighter, has been suspended from work after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenager. The man, under the influence of alcohol, arrived at the girl's house, asking for a place to stay. He then got into her bed.

Edward Snook, a respected firefighter from Cheshire, arrived at the underage girl's home in the middle of the night. He was drunk. He appeared in her room despite her clear indication that she wanted to rest in her bedroom. The man admitted that he went to the girl's house hoping to get close to her, but denied touching her.

Prosecutor Katy Johnson presented the sequence of events to the court. As she explained, the incident happened after Edward Snook spent the evening with friends in Cheshire. He then sent a text message to the 17-year-old asking for a place to stay. The teenager allowed him to sleep on the sofa when he appeared at her house.

The man touched the teenager

According to the British newspaper "Mirror", the man suddenly entered the 17-year-old's bedroom. He asked her if he could borrow a charger. Later, he got under her blanket.

The teenager left the room. She was terrified. When she returned, she sat on the edge of the bed. He looked at his phone screen and announced "Actually, I have got to go. I have lots to do. I will walk home".

The firefighter committed sexual assault

During the hearing, the prosecutor presented evidence indicating that the accused deliberately went to the victim's apartment to engage in sexual activities. His previous behaviour, including drinking alcohol, and his later statements confirmed this intention.

Although the accused denied any physical contact, the sober victim's testimony, which detailed the incident, was more credible. The court found that touching the victim's stomach, especially in the context of the earlier conversation about cheating, constituted a form of sexual assault.

The accused was found guilty. He was sentenced to six months in prison. Furthermore, he was registered as a sex offender. It is worth noting that the current 33-year-old man has a wife and two children.
